Patches and Harriet are two 6 month old females who have been spayed and received rabies and distemper vaccinations. They were recently rescued and received these services as part of the TNR (trap-neuter-return) program, aimed at preventing unwanted kittens from being born into the hostile outdoor world of the city.

Now returned to their original location, they are fed and cared for by the same people who had been taking care of them. They are really happy to be back to the familiar place, hang around on the porch and in the yard, play together, and get petted by their caregivers, but what they really need and deserve is a loving, permanent, indoors home where they will be safe and bring friendship to their human friends for many years. The lifespan of an outdoors/un-owned cat is only 4-5 years, due to vehicle traffic and vicious dogs. Otherwise, cats usually live for 15-17 years, and sometimes more.

It is not required, but the best solution would be for a kind person to take both of these clean little ladies home, since they are sisters and totally enjoy each other's company just as people do.
