But I am seeing 5 ounce cans. They are smaller and it's really obvious. It looks like instead of raising the price of a 6 OZ can in acordance with costs, they kept the price the same and now provide less product. There's a reason I never buy the little cans. It's because the cost of packaging becomes more significant and it's also wasteful from a metals standpoint.

This is idiotic and no one is fooled by it. I'll buy the 6 OZ other brands.
Update - as of February, all the cans are 5 ounces, and all at the same high cost. More than the old 6 oz. can too! What a waste, we are now paying for more "can" than ever. That is 17% less tuna for 20% more cost! The cost is now 144% per ounce of Tuna. Did anyone else notice? WAKE UP!
It's my advice to buy the larger sized cans. The problem is that once a can is opened, the tuna does remain appetizing for long, although the "in oil" kind seems to do better. Best to go ahead and make up the sandwich mix all at once and refrigerate any remaining portion..
