Shipping:

Shipping always to USA adresses only, by convenient FedEx ground/home delivery from Dallas, Texas 75216.

A good estimate of the shipping cost can be found by using the FedEx online calculator with postal code 75216. Be sure to allow for the size or weight of the item and an appropriate box. CRTs are generally double boxed with packing between the boxes. Items are well-packed so that you get them in one piece. We will quote the actual shipping cost and total for your approval once the order has been placed via e-mail and we have your USA receiving address.

FedEx offers a service of packing the item. When this service is used, FedEx assumes full responsibility for the declared value or for the replacement cost. The service usually costs between $4 and $8 depending on the carton size. This service is highly recommended if the item is massive (some transformers) and / or fragile (CRT or oil capacitor, large choke with ceramic terminals).

USPS or UPS are not recommended except for certain very small, solid, relatively indestructible items. Unfortunately, experience has proven that fragile or massive electronics items are frequently broken when handled by UPS and USPS. UPS and USPS have denied every claim we or our customers have ever made on property that was packed according to their own rules. When something that was packed according to their rules was broken or damaged, UPS and USPS have claimed "improper packing" and refused to pay for it. We consider this ongoing business practice to be unfair. We understand the savings that a USPS flat rate box can provide but we also believe that the cost of a rare component destroyed is higher than the cost of a more careful shipping company. If we recommend FedEx, but you require shipment by USPS or UPS, we will acommodate you at your own sole risk. We are not responsible for any loss or damage of shipments made via UPS or USPS, whatsoever.

Packing:

Because of the often delicate or dense nature of our goods, extra care is used when packing them. If new cartons or packing materials are used, the cost will be added to the order to make sure the item is protected properly against damage. These materials are less costly than a destroyed item. We re-use or recycle packing materials in order to save cost for all concerned. An example is an old carton containing a NOS CRT. The old carton may be deteriorated and unsuitable for shipping by itself, but may be perfect as a cradle to hold the CRT when surrounded by bubble wrap or foam inside a larger new carton.

Minimum Order:

The minimum order excluding shipping costs is $20. Please consider spares or combining other desirable items when ordering.

Unless otherwise stated, items on this site are "used or surplus electronics equipment" and may have cosmetic or other minor flaws. At these low prices we cannot make any guarantees of perfection, and prefer that you ask about this when you inqure for the order. CRTs are tested only for filament continuity and examined for screen burns. It's important that you tell us what you expect when considering used or surplus components.

If you are dissatisfied with anything you have bought here, you may, after contacting us to make arrangements, return it postpaid and in the same condition within 10 days of receiving it. The item price will be cheerfully refunded. No shipping charges either way will be refunded at these low sale prices. If posible, we will also offer another of the same item or a similar one, and if possible cover the shipping cost, based on the individual situation and our determination. That said, we don't sell anything that we know or suspect to be junk or unusable. Who wants that kind of hassle and complaints?. Any such items when discovered are removed from stock and properly disposed of.
