More work needs done on the shaft bolt-holes to make the sling fit properly. The sling itself is interesting in that it is made of a continuous thread of kevlar wound back and forth many many times. The thread is woven with a fiber optic cable. Therefore the sling's integrity can be checked at any time by checking the fiber optic cable's transmission. If the thread is broken and therefore the sling is unsafe, the cable will also be broken. Then it must be discarded. It's a great safety tool to prevent injuries and damage.
