 Remember the mention of the drain in the floor of the main unit scroll case. It leads to a sump. Many other drains lead there as well, and the sump has to be kept emptied or the dam will flood. The is video shows the pump working. It's a multi stage rotary pump with the impellers contained inside a section of pipe. |
